Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account data: the email address you register with, your password (stored hashed, we cannot recover it), name, company name and country.

Enquiry data: the part numbers, quantities, company, email, phone and message you submit in our enquiry or contact forms, plus the source page, UTM parameters and IP address (for spam prevention and attribution).

Chat data: your conversation with our on-site AI assistant, session time and source page; if you choose to leave an email address, that address and a visitor fingerprint.

Technical data: access logs (IP, browser identifier, time) and your language preference (stored in a cookie).

2. How we use it

To create and maintain your account and provide features such as sign-in and the wishlist; to answer your enquiries and support requests; to send blog and new-product notifications after you subscribe; to prevent spam and abuse; and to improve our products and services.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

3. Third parties

Google / Meta (Facebook): when you choose to sign in with them, we receive your email address and basic profile data to create your account.

AI model provider (currently DeepSeek): the text of your questions to the on-site AI assistant is sent to this provider's API to generate a reply. Please do not enter sensitive personal information unrelated to your enquiry.

Email service provider: used to send enquiry receipts, restock notices and subscription emails.

Hosting and CDN providers: the site runs on third-party servers and access logs are processed by them.

We disclose data to other third parties only where legally required or necessary to protect our legitimate interests.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your language. Third-party scripts (sign-in buttons, the chat widget) load only after you consent. You can clear cookies in your browser, but you will be signed out.

5. Retention

Account data: for as long as the account exists, and deleted within 30 days of closure.

Enquiry records: 24 months after the order or last contact.

Chat conversations: 12 months.

Unconfirmed email subscriptions: 7 days.

Access logs: no longer than 6 months.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export and delete your personal data, to withdraw consent, to object to processing, to request restriction of processing, and to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

To exercise these rights, email sales@caeujt.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. International transfers

Our servers and some service providers are located outside the EU. Where data is transferred internationally we rely on appropriate safeguards such as contractual clauses.
